ABOUT Fun Operation Deployment Group

Current Deployment: 2 Russian Maps (Winter Season)

The idea behind this fun-op is to simulate some missions that may have been performed overseas. The missions will be given by myself, and I will develop the story line as the result of each mission plays out. Everything everyone does each mission will influence every aspect of the game in the future. For example: if a squad clears out a town and kills innocent civilians, the civilians will more than likely dislike your presence and maybe even retaliate as a result. If a bunch of soldiers have to clear out a town and decide to level the entire town out, the next time they pass through the town it will be leveled to the ground, and abandoned. If you run a convoy down similar routes over and over again, you're most likely going to encounter some sort of IED. ETC.

Anyone within the 15th MEU welcome, and the ops will be simple and eventful.

This is a new group page on steam for those of you who want to regularly participate in these fun-ops that are being organized on a regular basis. Any time a new mission is being scheduled, I will post it as an event on here and broadcast it to those who opt to be subscribed to PM notifications via the forums on the 15th MEU website. This is being implimented in an effort to help broadcast all events that we hold here.

Originally, the posts were to be made on the Game Organization forum page on the 15th MEU. In order to avoid cluttering the forums, we only posted the one page for the funops. In order to avoid cluttering the page itself, we've been recycling the posts, since we don't have the ability to delete them and create new comments. This creates a problem: There's no way of automatically notifying anyone that there is a new post up. In addition, not everyone has this page open 24/7 to see last minute scheduled events and whatnot. So, how are we fixing this and making it more user friendly?

Two things we are implimenting in order to help address this minor issue:
1. The funop group on steam here.
2. PM requests.
