Just saw... my first catboy of the night...

Literary girls, beautiful nerds, artists and waifs, Wet Brain listeners, catboys, furries, graphic designers, twirling bisexuals in varsity jackets, jocks, best friends, Drain This, Gang That, willowy intellectuals, lovers, optimists, bright souls, Trad Caths, angels and girlfriends, they know all the words, all the meanings, DePop power sellers, poets, models and sweethearts, misfit DJs, the lost, we're dreaming of a cult, confused Millennials, vibe-shifters, philosophy students (undergrad), guys on the scene with really dark energy, very stoned anime characters, so much hope and promise, a thousand Drainers in line outside the Knockdown Center on Friday night in springtime waiting to ascend, "John of the Cross in Opium Dreams... Jung tarot stuff in The Fool... That line about the mirror, I know he reads Deleuze... Just saw... my first catboy of the night... I should cast some of these... He's already got an agent, I promise you... Take my ecstasy as soon as I'm inside... I took a screenshot he says, "We think we exist, that's why we suffer, do we not?'... Everybody has one clearly defined aesthetic... I can't see any aesthetic... Simone Weil... ONE SHOT." Drain Gang are Benjamin Reichwald (Bladee), Zak Arogundade (Ecco2K), Nino Bunleang (Thaiboy Digital) and Ludwig Rosenberg (Whitearmor). They're pure of heart and spirit. Very inspiring to speak with. They got together as teenagers in Stockholm and are now in their late twenties. Since 2020 alone they've released four albums and an EP among them. Their latest, "Crest", was recorded in that year's spring and summer on the Swedish coast (Nino wasn't there because he couldn't leave Thailand). Nobody else makes records like these. It's the music of wanting to live in heaven, of pixies, elves, imps and sorcerers with autotune, chanting sweet lullabies and whispers on the wind, counting the signs, jangling the bells, the cloud synths in the trees, plink-plonk, throwing sparkles in the air, at the party in the goblin's house.
