Developer Notes, What I Have Done with the Racing & UI.

developed a 3D racing game built in Unity with the following key features:
Core Racing Mechanics
• Racing System: A complete race management system that tracks positions, lap times, and rankings across multiple racing tracks
• Position Tracking: Real-time tracking of player and AI car positions using the FirstSecThird component with multi-threaded optimization
• Lap System: Waypoint-based lap tracking that monitors race progress and completion
• Time Tracking: Records and displays best lap times and stores them persistently
Visual Features
• Leaderboard System: Shows real-time race positions with customizable UI
• Camera System: Advanced camera following with cinematic effects including:
• Dynamic field of view changes based on speed
• Camera shake on impacts
• Slow motion effects
• Cinematic flight paths
• Ability to cycle between viewing different AI cars
Race Management
• Multi-Track Championship: The CRRaceManager handles progression across multiple racing tracks
• Persistent Rankings: Saves race positions across multiple tracks to determine overall championship standings
• Race Results: Shows detailed race results upon completion, including positions and lap times
• Auto-Save System: Preserves race progress between play sessions
Environment and Navigation
• AI Cars: Computer-controlled opponents that navigate the track using waypoints
• Navigation System: Waypoint-based system with direction indicators for the player
• Level Loading: Smooth scene transitions with camera fly-throughs between tracks
