Shall Carthage Be Reborn?

People of Carthage,

Hello, my name is Augustus Caesar. I am the proud founder of the United Roman Empire and current owner of the Empire of Macedon.

I obtained ownership of Reborn of the Carthaginians because I saw the current Carthaginian Roleplay group was crumbling. The Grand Republic of Carthage no longer seems to have what it needs to be active. Their owner and leader, Hannibal Barca is unable to be on steam enough to see the revival through and help the group along the way.

I believe strongly that Carthaginian Roleplay doesn't live or die with Hannibal or GRoC. For all these reasons, I am going to begin to prepare Reborn of the Carthaginians for a revival. Should Grand Republic manager to get active, so be it, but I can't say I feel it will.

Carthage will need leaders and participants. If you are interested in being either of these, leave a comment and/or contact me so we can talk. I think an oligarchy will be the best form of government and leadership for this group, but I am open to everyone’s ideas.

I look forward to seeing this group revived soon.

The Warmongering SPQR has invaded our sacred homeland. Defense Groups are being set up in Crete, Carthage, Caralis, Sicily, and Spain. The Garrison shall be as follows. The Great City of Carthage 100,000 Infantry, 25,000 Calvary, and 5,000 Elephants. TIhe City of Irakleion 50,000 Infantry and 10,000 Calvary. The City of Cagliari 25,000 Infantry and 10,000 Calvary. The Island of Sicily 100,000 Infantry, 75,000 Calvary, and 1,000 Elephants. The Region of Hispania 50,000 Infantry and 25,000 Calvary. Our fleets will patrol the waters around the Empire and Rome. If the Romans set foot on our soil we will be sure to give them hell.
