The Boom Festival is a biennial event in Portugal celebrating music, art, and culture. Originally a psytrance festival in 1997, Boom has evolved into a multidisciplinary experience featuring electronic music, world music, theater, cinema, visual arts, and immersive installations.

Boom offers multiple stages, including dance floors, chillout areas, the Sacred Fire stage for acoustic and live performances, and the Groovy Beach stage, introduced in 2008, showcasing contemporary electronic genres like Dubstep, Breakbeat, Techno, and Minimal.

Beyond music, Boom nurtures creativity through art galleries, natural sculptures, street theater, fire-dancing, yoga, meditation, lectures, and discussions in the Liminal Village.
