Covenant of the Abyss, Corruption of the Pure

There is a trade that was once perfected by Sir Knight Artorias long ago. Artorias had an unbendable will of steel, which both helped and fed into his hatred for dark servants; the Darkwraiths of Kaathe in particular. With this new ability it allowed him to enter the home of the Darkwraiths and the Four Kings themselves.

However Artorias was deeply marked by the Abyss and was slowly falling victim to its corruption. He gave his shield as protection to his faithful companion Sif the Great Grey Wolf before he was defeated and corrupted to fulfill the Abyss's means.

Tread carefully in this foreboding territory stranger for you might not survive to tell the tale. Those who have fully embraced the darkness within them will know peace and power as the Abyss commands them onward. There is no stopping its advances and no halting its corruption.

If you wish to give up the light that is so desperately trying to remain aflame inside you, you are welcome to embrace the Abyssal darkness. If your will is strong, control over your mind you will have. The weak will not remain sane enough to make their own choices and will eventually fall prey to madness.
