Group for ARKFans Server

Hi all! It has been a while. Since 2016, we all have been through a lot in life. The same on this end. I wanted to provide an update and go through and fix out of date information on all the various platforms that ARKFans is on to let people know that we STILL EXIST!

1. The official Discord is still active, but suffered a setback when discord.io shut down, which in essence killed the invite link. The official invite link is now:
   https://www.arkfans.info/discord
   Be sure to update your bookmarks and let anybody you know that plays in our community of this update! All other links are likely to be invalid or not work!
   
   
2. Our community Discord has went through some updates including the pruning of inactive members. We are still just shy of 100 active members, so be sure to come over and meet a fantastic group of people from various games and streaming platforms who have made ARKFans their hangout.
   
   
3. With the announcement that the Official ARK servers will be taken offline permanently on September 30th, we are reaching out to those legacy players looking for a new home to come try playing on our unofficial servers. ARKFans has no plans to shutdown our unofficial servers as people still continue to play every day on them!
   
   
4. Our servers no longer run mods due to the complexity, bugs, and stability. Please do not ask for mods or plugins. They simply ruin uptime and the positive gaming experience overall when a server cannot be accessed due to the frequent updates.
   
   
5. We are also working on improving stability to implement a restart every 24 hours to ensure the ARK servers are always updated and available. Join our discord for the latest progress.
   
   
6. With the big announcement of ARK Survival Ascended (referred to as ASA), our plans are to roll out unofficial servers to support the new release! Join us on Discord to keep updated on the progress as well as relevant news from other platforms that will be shared. Be sure when joining our Discord to select the proper interests you have in order to see relevant chat and information!
   
   
7. Earlier this year, ARKFans launched an experimental Rust PvE server. We have a few regulars on it now. If you have Rust and want to do some PvE come check it out! Links and more details are available on our Discord channel under the Rust section.
   
   
8. Within the last month, we launched two servers for the game Sons of the Forest. One server is official, normal gameplay mode while the 2nd server is for building and learning without enemies. Server Details and more information are on Discord under the Sons of the Forest Section.
   
   
9. We are looking into starting a PvE server for the game "Heat" (by Codehatch). Although the game has been around for years and further development/updates is questionable, the official servers are no longer online. Join Discord for the latest updates on the progress.
