ABOUT 51st Infantry Battalion

6th Airborne Division

The 6th Airborne Division is a realism unit based in resistance and liberation, a half life 2, world war II modification. The unit is focused around playing the game to a serious level, and concentrating on a high level of team work. Here at the 6th AD, we condone only players who strive for realism and sheer team work to succeed in game.

Our unit has a solid rank structure based around that of world war II squad ranks. We implement these ranks into individual squads which encourages strategy, and tactics on the field of battle and gives everyone the sense of achievement and commitment on getting a better rank.

We welcome all new players to the 6th AD, and hope you will be enlisting to fight out on the front with the men of the 6th AD..

New Site, New Provider, Need Donations!

As all of you may have noticed by now, the units website has been deactivated. Unfortunately, I was not able to finance both the server, website, & ventrillo that month causing the deactivation of the site. I have financed the server and ventrillo (Although the vent is not completely neccessary) for a new month. Now we have the problem of not having a website... I found that with the 'xippy' provider, 'Yes' it was cheap, and 'Yes' it was easy to manage but It didn't do us justice in catching public players eyes.

Starting this week I am hoping to get enough donations in to purchase a new site from a new provider, in this case http://clanwebs.co.uk/ I have chosen. While they not be as cheap as xippy, they provide us with everything we need to recruit more players, and with the growing popularity of RnL with the new release on it's way we will require this.

I urge that all donations be sent to Spetsnaz.Scheif@Gmail.com so I can purchase a website. It will cost around 26GBP, and that's for a whole year!!! with forums and many themes to choose from as well as a .co.uk domain.
