I believe the true fans of this game don’t want to play the 'sanitized version' which is the 1.5 patch, but the original version. That’s why I strongly recommend splitting the game into two versions. Players are well aware that 'sanitized versions' are a sad compromise, just look at what happened with the Resident Evil series.
So if necessary, keep the 'sanitized version' exclusively for the Mainland China region due to local public opinion or political factors. Fine. Whatever. But what we truly want is the original masterpiece.
I sincerely hope the developers or relevant authorities will take this seriously.
