The Coldstream Guards

This is the home of the 1st Battalion the Coldstream Guards.
Our aim is to create a realistic yet fun environment in Arma 3 focusing on the British Armies 1st Battalion the Coldstream Guards.

Our goal is to focus on FOB and soldiers lives on the frontline, and firefights.

We're the home of Project Combat Immersion, focusing on immersion of soldiers on frontlines positions, taking into effects supplies, rotations/tours and enemy tactics to create a constant living environment. We currently get 100 people on average an evening attending these events for us!

We're part of Crowd Control gaming community and work close with them to provide our servers, discord and teamspeak.

To make our group accessable to play by all members of the community we have a system set up allowing for active (Regular) and Inactive (Reservist) members each with their own perks.

Regular: A regular player is someone who can attend 1-2 of the events a week minimum and can be relied upon. They get the role they want and are generally locked into that, however it is down to your descretion if you'd like to change roles. This ensures to the mission makers you will be turning up as that role. You notify Morgan of times you can not turn up.

Reservist: As a reservist it is simply saying you do not know if you can turn up constantly so can't garauntee you'll attend over the weekend, maybe missing 3 events a fortnight or so on. However, you shouldn't be exluded from the community - as it is a game. So this is setup so you don't have a specific role, instead you can come along to any events you choose but fill in for roles that are not being filled on that day, this means you may get what you want or not what you want - it constantly changes. You should let Morgan know you're turning up.

Even though these 2 roles are set in place it is still a game. Therefore even if you are an active player and miss a weekend due to holiday there is no issue in that. If you want to change from regular to reserve or visa versa you may. It is entirely down to your choice.
