The 116th Cavalry [HSC] Is a mil-sim unit dedicated to Arma 3 and previous titles since 2010.


We are a realism unit, we focus on keeping gameplay realistic but do not condemn the most Important part of gaming, and that's to have a good time, we don't let "over-the-top-seriousness" get the better of our unit, we are a simple laid back unit but appreciate the aspect of keeping our missions serious enough that we can progress and accomplish them with quality, while our group may be small, we prefer It this way as a large group can be overwhelming and not everyones cup of tea.

We are US based.

With our unit you can expect to play multiple factions from multiple nations spanning from the US, UK, GER, RU, USSR, ARVN, FR and many more, this keeps diversity In the picture and with mods and dlc, we are able to depict these factions as realistic and diverse as possible, adding to our creative and large roster of missions that we have to offer.

The unit leader, Cpt.Hurd Is the primary source for creating missions, units and mod development, In keeping with our theme mentioned above I create missions based on real life wars/events but add In extra seasoning (some fiction) to keep everything Interesting and avoid unnecessary drag, we also have a line of pure fictional based missions (such as our latest Cold-War gone hot campaign for example)

Our unit appreciates teamwork, communication and dedicated Individuals who want to help our unit succeed In these operations.

As mentioned above we are primarily an Arma 3 group, however we do games In other titles as shown In our list on this page, these games are merely just sidegames we play either after or before mission time, or on days when the unit may not be up for Arma operations, none of these titles are required to join the group other than Arma 3 + DLC
