Anyone else have the issue where your crouched and hidden and you start sneaking up on someone like the Madman and they instantly go aggro and start running around saying I know your there and such? I can't even stealth near them anymore.

This is my first time in this game experiencing a night. Do I need to hide? I'm currently hiding in a house on top of the bunk bed and I can hear noises outside lol. I'm really enjoying it so far especially since I got it so cheap on steam.

Multiple puzzles have no hints towards solutions, combat is stiff and tedious, you will spending 60-70% of this game running from point A to point B killing the same enemies in the same area you killed them 20 times before.
