I am a big fan of a wide variety of puzzle games. I am not a fan of The Pedestrian.

The journey was such a trudge that it's taken me something like three years to play the handful of hours it takes to complete this, and I've only pushed myself that far out of the stubborn need to eventually mark it as complete instead of abandoned.

It's too long for what little it is and each new mechanic is worse than the last. Most of the individual puzzles are at least fine if generally bland, excepting the ridiculous runbacks required with adjusting puzzles with the final two mechanics, but they had close to no idea how to blend separate puzzles into an overall engaging game.

Having just watched the ending it's put a lot into focus. It's like they saw the popularity of The Witness and took a lot of wrong lessons from it. Like yes, of course you need a nonsense fantasy conclusion to the narrative to be a successful puzzle game, that's one of the real core dynamics.
