All the reviews say this game was never really ended, did they ever finish it?

I know Pixelfade has lots of work, but if you ever got the chance to, would you make a game for each romance ending like what you did for Kaori? so people don't finish the game with another character then have to play the sequel with a different ending they chose for Ace Academy?...

I need your opinion. If you have to choose either one of this two, which one?
