Rarely do I fall in love with a game. Most of the time, I am searching for the next one I can't put down. I have a library full of games that I only played for a few hours because they didn't capture my attention. This is one of those games that I love and can't put down. I am surprised it's so difficult to find more info on it. I know it's fairly new to North America, but I figured there would be a little more available online because it's so good. It's a combination of all things cozy (fishing, cooking, bug catching, decorating, foraging, outfit dying, sewing/weaving, and dress-up) plus a little light combat; all accomplished in a super cute way - like fighting bread dogs or gingerbread men carrying Christmas trees.

The decorating is done perfectly, with 360-degree rotation and decor placeable anywhere in your channel, which includes: the cafe area, beach, apartment area, and park. It's a newer game, so more decor is needed, but what is available now is really cute. I do wonder how to move items already placed as part of the game decor. Maybe it's not possible, but I hope they change that if so. There is a stack of boxes near a sliding glass door in the apartment area, and I want to decorate that area, but since the stack is so large, it distracts from the surrounding decor.

The Christmas event is probably one of the best I've played as far as art style and concept. You are in a snowglobe surrounded by giant baked goods and Christmas decor. You complete a series of quests, such as finding stars, various chests, and fighting gingerbread men & a snowman, to earn event currency. Absolutely adorable!

I've played other gachas, like Infinity Nikki, Genshin Impact, etc. I can obtain a complete premium outfit in about 40-50 pulls (sometimes less), which is a lot less than Infinity Nikki and the whole reason I no longer play that game. I don't mind spending if I feel the value is there and the price matches; in this case, I am very pleased. You are guaranteed an SSR character in 70 pulls, and it takes about 60-70 to achieve. Once you level the recruited character up to 5 stars in their corresponding event tab, you can place them in your channel on certain decor, like a chair in the cafe. You can easily collect Starstones (in-game currency used for most things), Skin tickets, or earn Rota points, which can be exchanged for pulls on furniture, clothing, and weapons. You are also rewarded with recruit and exclusive tickets, which can be used to recruit new characters.

You can see the love that was put into the development. The only thing I hope they work on is controller support. You can play with a controller using Steam input, but you will need a keyboard to access certain menu items. I also play on my iPad Pro, which has no controller support. I really hope that changes.
