Beholder: Conductor is a spin off from beholder series. Managing a train while secretly spying on passengers feels thrilling and constantly keeps you on edge. The moral choices hit hard, the consequences matter, and each decision leaves you curious about what might unfold next. Although the pacing slows down at times, the dark atmosphere and strong narrative make it hard to walk away. Overall, it’s a satisfying experience for fans of stealth and moral dilemmas. 8.5/10

The good:
At the beginning the game presents itself like a sort of Paper Please: passenger gets on the train, you check their ticket and point out irregolarities if any. You can also spy on the passengers and wait for them to move out of their cabin to go through their belonging in search of any clue or evidence to file their profile, send them to jail or blackmail them.
The passenger can also give you small quests, usually about bringing them something that you have to either buy from a vendor or steal from another passenger's suitcase.
So far the game is pleasant, too bad that it doesn't really last long because after about 2 hours there is simply nothing to do.

The bad:
At some point the train stops at a station, and no new passenger get on the train. Nothing happens. Then the next station comes and still no new passenger. Then another one and still nothing. I already did all my 2 main quests and my 2 side quests, I have to wait for a call that will come after 3 days and I have nothing to do except increase the time at max speed and watch the same animations looping. Another station and still no new passenger.
Then the day of the call comes, I get assigned to a new car, get some new quests, finally new passengers to spy on but those get done quite quickly. Now I need 3 evidence to jail them but why am I doing this again? Then a new station comes and again no new passenger get on board despite my third class being completely empty.

In the end I feel the wasted potential of a possibly very enjoyable game. I'm not sure I will play more of this, I don't think it's scratching that paper please itch very well.

Point & click mystery game, with elements of Papers Please. Very nice artstyle

It's funny to see the big officer guys beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of "innocent" people. Old, young, man or woman? Don't care.

Biggest issue was the controls. Let me WASD >:(
The fact you end up arresting pretty much everyone as well is also kinda weird.

(if you go for 100% achievements, the fact this game doesn't have the sexual content tag is wild)
