that was probably the most unsatisfying way to end a game ever. also, you cant romance a single woman while playing as a woman even though every other NPC is LGBT?

the crafting was pretty boring but im not a fan of rhythm games anyways, the story was good enough right up until the end.

A simple cozy visual novel/crafting game. The story is a bit quick taking a little over 5 hours to finish atleast for me. However I don't think this is much of an issue, the story overall keeps you hooked till the "end". It is interesting to see that the endless mode is continuing right after the ending of story mode with a new mechanic. The crafting is easy, but that is also a part of what makes it good. You get a bunch of choices for customization you whip up a unique looking thingie and you sell it. You can smith or craft a lot of different items in the game, some crafting systems being more painful then others (Those damn talismans). But the game is lenient in it's grading so it makes for a nice destresser.

CraftCraft has a strong foundation as a cozy, relaxing crafting game, and I enjoyed the core gameplay loop. There is clear potential here for something very special. However, the current experience is still held back by a number of bugs and design issues that compound over time and significantly impact player enjoyment.

I originally played the game about a month ago and returned after noticing a recent update focused on bug fixes. Unfortunately, many of the same issues remain, which suggests that some core interaction and placement problems may need deeper attention rather than surface-level fixes.

Below are specific problem areas that stood out during play:

Physics and interaction reliability (coin machine)
The coin bag can clip through the coin machine’s visual layers if it is placed too quickly or at a slightly incorrect angle. Since this interaction is repeated frequently, even small physics inconsistencies become very noticeable over time. Improving object collision or snap-to-position behavior here would greatly improve usability and polish.

Critical item loss due to physics glitches
While transferring a crafted sabre from the anvil to the sanding stone (Dayguard quest), the item glitched and was thrown off-screen, resulting in permanent loss. Bugs that delete player progress—especially during quest crafting—are extremely damaging to trust and should likely be treated as high-priority issues.

Storage layout and item spawn placement
Gathered items currently spawn in a position that overlaps with large opening drawers. This forces players to move items out of the way before they can organize them, adding unnecessary friction to an otherwise relaxing activity. A small adjustment to spawn location or drawer interaction could significantly improve quality of life.

Resource respawn rates and progression balance
After initially unlocking areas, resource respawn rates drop to a very low level (often only two or three items per day in areas like the forest or beach, frequently repeating the same resources). Given the minimal economic pressure in the game, this scarcity feels unnecessary and actively limits crafting, experimentation, and customization. Increasing respawn rates or introducing alternative resource generation systems would better support the game’s cozy design goals.

Geode processing flow and immersion
Geodes are currently broken with a hammer in the forge, and the resulting crystals can remain floating in place indefinitely. The lack of forced interaction or cleanup makes the system feel unfinished and breaks immersion. A dedicated geode-breaking station, clearer feedback, or automatic collection behavior would improve both visual clarity and player satisfaction.

Overall, I genuinely enjoyed CraftCraft and believe it has strong potential. Most of the issues above feel solvable through targeted bug fixes, interaction improvements, and small design adjustments rather than large systemic changes. With continued focus on stability, physics consistency, and quality-of-life polish, the game could become an excellent example of the cozy crafting genre.
