I'll start this review off by saying first of all: this review has nothing to do with Chloe apart from the fact they paired her with Victoria Chase of all people (My life is strange at this point) and secondly I'd like to give the game a 4/10, True colours was the weakest game in the franchise for me until this came out but even then true colours had a very good story compared to this.

(tldr: If you've just finished other games in the franchise, avoid this one to end it on a good note)

I pre-ordered double exposure over a year ago now, I just cannot bring myself to finish this game unfortunately, I've skimmed through gameplay and have seen everything the story has to offer due to it being terribly written and a slog to get through. Everything from the terrible humour to the character assassination of numerous characters from the franchise, weak soundtrack and overall bad writing has put me off from picking it back up... maybe someday I'll finish it but I'd have to be on whatever drugs the developers were on when they thought this storyline was a good idea.

I really love life is strange and hope the upcoming show will be true to the game compared to whatever this game was, I've also 100%'d every game's achievements in the franchise and would love to do the same for this, I just cannot bring myself to it when this game is a shell of what the franchise once was.

While this review is 90% negative, make your own opinion if you wish, I know mine's made up for me. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the developers for introducing me to my favourite band newdad by including them in the game, while I'm not a fan of their song for Life is Strange: DE I am a massive fan of newdad and It's amazing that you guys gave them a shot to include music in this game.

Inauthentic and awkward. The original Life is Strange with Max Caulfield had so much soul. It was charismatic. This one tries too hard to be relevant, meme-y and relatable. The dialogue has that older generation trying to mimic
young people feel to it. The music, animation, and setting are so darn pretty but the characters behave in such a shallow manner.

The ending is absolute garbonzo
