Really Fun small 3D Plattformer with a souls like structure to it. The movement is very good and also gets used to it's fullest in the different Void Challenges. Combat is also rather simple and a bit buggy but you don't really need to engage with it. The Soundtrack and all of the side content is also crafted with love.

That sounds like it could either be a messy disaster OR the best thing ever, and by golly is this the latter.
The platforming is great, the combat is janky but generally satisfying, the story is pretty unoriginal and not great, but it's charming enough to enjoy, kinda like how Nintendo plots play out.
Really good, underrated, more people should play.

My full, honest pros/cons list of the game:
Pros:
- Love the atmosphere, almost like a hollow knight type of adventure.
- The attempt at a 3d metroidvania is alright at best. Better than some of the other metroidvanias I've played.
- In my opinion, the bosses were hard enough to keep me on my toes, but they had recognizable patterns.
- Enemies were fairly easy to deal with, especially once I got stronger weapons. At first, they were difficult.
- I like the platforming aspect of the game. Nothing outside of that, I just love platformers.
- Controls felt great. I do not understand why people were having negative reviews of the controls because, and I quote, "they felt clunky." I beat the game one handed because of a disability I face. I do not think that the controls were bad at all. Just git gud.

Cons:
- A BIG one is depth perception. I am not sure if it is just me or the graphics, but I cannot tell how far I am from an obstacle. That caused a lot of issues with the voids.
- The NPCs are not memorable.
- The story felt kind of short...? I am not sure how to describe it. It was there, but it was not prominent i suppose?



A some of negative feedback that I saw revolved around people comparing this game to hollow knight. Bottom line, nothing is going to be as good as hollow knight. That game is like a jazz standard: it is just one of the metroidvanias of all time. Yes, there are some flaws with this game, but if you just give it a shot and finish it all the way through, then you just might change your mind. And if you still have a negative review afterwards, then that is just you. Nothing wrong with that.
