🦊 RECOMMENDED (7/10) — "For the vibes only"
If Journey and Stray had a baby in Iceland.

The Vibe: Pure aesthetic. You play as a fox in a world inspired by Nordic folklore. No dialogue, no HUD, just you and the Northern Lights. It’s peak "chill and forget about the world" material.

The Visuals & Audio: Gorgeous landscapes and a soundtrack that honestly carries the entire experience. It’s basically a playable meditation session.

Gameplay: It’s a walking sim with light puzzles and platforming. Don’t expect God of War combat—there isn’t any. You’re just exploring and uncovering the story of a lost civilization.

The catch:

Clunkiness: The controls can feel a bit "jank." The fox sometimes feels like it's sliding on ice, and platforming can be frustrating when the jump doesn't land where you want.

The Pace: It is slow. If you have a short attention span or need constant action, you will get bored in 20 minutes.

Direction: There’s zero hand-holding. You might spend some time running around in circles wondering what the game wants from you.

Verdict: It’s a 9/10 for relaxation, but a 5/10 for actual "gaming" mechanics. Buy it on sale if you want to look at pretty things and play as a cute fox, but skip it if you want an engaging challenge.

It’s frustrating that you can’t save the game manually; instead, it saves itself automatically when you reach certain points. Because of this, I have to think three times about when to start it and how much time I have for it. Meanwhile, the music is beautiful, the game’s melancholic atmosphere is soothing, and the tasks are well chosen. It’s just this saving issue…

It's a beautiful game with great art direction and emotional music. However, certain decisions in gameplay end up working against the player. For example, trying to position yourself in the gazer, the fox swimming forward when you want to stand still, the shaman staffs becoming impossible to pick up again if you activate some glyphs. Overall, it made gameplay a frustrating experience.
If you enjoy games like Journey or Flower and are willing to have more patience than me, consider giving this game a try. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it.
