How to backup my current config?
The map is backing up your config file automatically.
However it is always important to have you own backup saved somewhere else.
To perform a backup you need to copy your config.cfg file to a safe place.
  1. Go to your Steam installation folder.
      The defaut path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam"
  2. Open userdata.

  3. Then open the folder with your SteamID3. (Examble: 32524734)
      (There might be a few other folders named with Steam ID there if you are using multiple Steam accounts. If you use one account only, there will be only one folder. You can find the ID for your main account HERE[steamid.io]. The name of the folder you are searching is "steamID3".)
  4. Open the 730 folder.

  5. Now copy the config.cfg file where you want to back it up.

  6. Done.

How can I get my old settings back?
When you're on the map there is the main big screen with configs.
There you can find two buttons titled:
  • RESTORE config from START OF CURRENT SESSION
and
  • RESTORE config from FIRST TIME USE OF THIS MAP

Which settings am I applying on the recommended screen?
All the commands that get applied on the recommended screen can be found here.

How do I turn on "Black-Bars" or "Stretched" resolutions
We have made a own discussion about this topic here.

Do I need to delete my autoexec.cfg file
It depends on the commands you have in your autoexec.cfg file.
Some commands may overwrite the changes you applied on the map. That's why we recommend to delete or rename the autoexec.cfg file so it doesn't get executed.

Have you lost some fps after using the recommended "FPS BOOST" or "Video" options?
WARNING: ONLY FOR SINGLE CORE (low-end) CPUs!

The error happens due to a setting that determines the threading mode.
If you have a multi-core CPU you will get a fps boost. However if your CPU is on the low-end side then your fps may even get worse.

To fix this issue open the console and write:
  • mat_queue_mode "-1"

We use that setting on the "Recommended"-Screen for the options "FPS BOOST" and "Video"..

Why can't I join a community server anymore?
To fix this issue open the console and write:
  • cl_disablehtmlmotd "0"

We change that setting to "1" because it increases the FPS on some computers.
The issue occurs when some servers force you to have this value at "0" because they want you to watch their ads.

I get the "Issued too many commands to server" error.
To fix this error you need to delete the "dont_delete_confgen.cfg" file.
  1. Go to your Steam installation folder.
      The defaut path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam"

  2. Open steamapps.

  3. Now go to steamapps > common > Counter-Strike Global Offensive > csgo > cfg.

  4. Now just delete the file dont_delete_confgen.log.

  5. Done.

Everytime that I change my config in the map, the next time I relaunch CS:GO the config isn't saved.
Please check if your config.cfg isn't set on read-only. Then check if you aren't launching any autoexec file. (Also check your launching parameters)

Can I give you any suggestions?
Yes we want to improve the map and are open for any suggestions. Just write your ideas HERE.

I have found some bugs/error where can I report them?
If you have found any bug/error on the map just describe your problem HERE.
We will try to resolve it as fast as possible.

Do you need some help with the Launch Options?
We have made a post about all the useful informations about Launch Options. It can be found HERE.

I get the "Failed to find a dedicated server" error.
To fix this error you need to delete the "dont_delete_confgen.cfg" file.
  1. Go to your Steam installation folder.
      The defaut path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam"

  2. Open steamapps.

  3. Now go to steamapps > common > Counter-Strike Global Offensive > csgo > cfg.

  4. Now just delete the file dont_delete_confgen.log.

  5. Done.

Where do you get the pro cfgs from? I have a lot of pro cfgs as well so I am just wondering if you guys have the super updated ones because you asked them or something

We do use a lot of sources. And yes we got some configs from the players directly. However, we have used many sources so it's difficult to name a specific website. We will try to update the configs on a monthly basis. Unfortunatelly a lot of players are not updating their configs so we are not always able to update everything. :csgohelmet:

Totally understandable! I go through the same dilemma when I search for updated configs too. Thank you for the answer, I can use this map confidently now :D

I have problem, a lot of settings in the FPS boost section are not applied, or being overwritten at game restart. cl_interp-ratio, cl_interp, fps_max are simply deleted; cl_uptarerate and cl_cmdrate revert to 64. and many other options dissapear. I tried putting them manually in my cfg, but on game startup they are deleted. I DONT have any autoexec neither any launch arguments. Any help would be great.

I changed my config to stewie2ks (All 3 options) adn everytime i log out and back in it chnages the config back to deafault which is what i used before. How do i fix this?

I am also having this same issue, my fps keeps capping at 300 and I have to enter fps_max 3000 every time I launch the game. Maybe it has something to do with the lack of launch options? I dont know.

If a fix isnt possible, is there somewhere I can look for all the commands used in the FPS BOOST? I could just mantually enter them into the launch options and fix my problem.
