The way the puzzle is built is that if the correct piece is in the right spot, it locks in place.
If a wrong item is placed, it stays in place but you can pick it up again.
I’ve really tried to recreate your issue, but I can’t, and behind the scenes everything looks correct.
Sometimes it can be a little tricky to pick up wrongly placed items.
And I guess we talking about the tree?
i think for the candle puzzle you should put a 'sound logic' next to each set of candles, just so that you know smth is happening when you go near them
