there's one other thing that's important to cover with fuel types is that even if you're not using the fuel, if it's in your jetpack you have better horizontal mobility.

A tip: You mash/tap too fast with the turbo fuel. If you mash/tap with longer pauses you will get higher. Not too long, just a bit longer.

How long the pause should be depends on the fuel. some can have really short pauses (bio for instance).

To be honest, though you get higher with bio its a pain in the a**, I just use turbo fuel* and make a short landing (build for instance a foundation or a horizontal beam to land on if there is really absolutely no ledge. but you will find that in most locations there are tiny ledges to land on and refill)
