"I am actualizing my interest in mini PCs and low-power gaming — to a degree.

PC1: NucBox G5 ($140)— Used as my primary 'daily driver'. Browsing, video streaming, capable of light gaming and editing.

Intel N97
12GB RAM
256GB m.2

PC2: 1TB OLED Steam Deck ($680)— Primary gaming PC, docked to monitor, easy access for handheld use.

PC3: AtomMan G7 Ti (Too much-$1600, I don't recommend) — Used for when I need more 'juice'. While maxing out at 180W, it serves me as a relatively low power, SFF PC with a lot to offer.

Intel Core i9-14900HX
32GB RAM
RTX4070 (laptop variant-undervolted)
1TB m.2

Accessories~
Controllers:
8bitdo SN30Pro
8Bitdo Pro 2

Audio:
Sennheiser RS 170
JBL Tune 230NC TWS

Keyboard: Redragon K509
Mouse: Logitech G403
There is a USB switch to swap the mouse & KB between the PCs.

Monitor: ViewSonic VX2768-2KP-MHD
27in IPS panel — 1440p@144Hz

Some extremely heartbreaking things occurred in my life last year that ended up in me no longer needing a hyper-powerful rig. And with the popularization of hybrid devices like the Switch and Steam Deck. I am now able to actualize the setup I've always desired.

I also understand that low-power, and what are essentially pre-built PCs are looked down upon in the PC community. But I've built enough PCs in my time, I love small form factor PCs, but they're just too troublesome to build yourself. I'm not interested.

Here's to a great year."

Thanks! I appreciate it! I thought about going with the N100 or the N150. But I decided to go with the N97 because it slightly outperformed them. Albeit, at the cost of a few extra watts. But a 12W TDP is still alright, imo.

You have a good setup. I also own an N100. Great little efficient machine
