Dragons Dogma 2 is not Skyrim, the game does not bend to you in every way to accommodate to your wishes, it is not a souls game where the challenge comes from the combat, and it is not Baldurs Gate 3 where you may save before every choice, every action. Dragons Dogma 2 is a world, one that you are merely part of; the game will not bend to you explain if you miss information then you will suffer. This world has rules and you are expected to follow them, ignorance is no excuse and the game will punish you. If you accept and remember this then world will start to reward you, the challenges that at first seem daunting become a mere chance to express your skill and solve it quickly, combat encounters that once worried you become just a line of text in the story of your rise to power, the rules that once seemed so unfair and punishing now barely affect you, and you've learned which ones you can break and how to do it. If you treat Dragons Dogma 2 with the respect it ask for you will find one of the best gaming experiences of your life, ignore it and you will write your negative review, and return to Skyrim, or a Souls game and do the same thing you have done time and time again because it ask nothing of you.
