Is the gnome lord a single tall gnome, or is he merely several ordinary gnomes in a large coat? In this talk I will articulate a number of arguments discussing whether or not the so called ‘Gnome Lord’ is in fact a single being or a number working in tandem to give the appearance of a larger, more lord-like whole, as well as the implications this might have of the wider gnomish society.
