Esse jogo ter flopado mostra como a Marvel é incompetente, porque ele é de longe o único jogo decente dessa marca horrorosa que é a marvel da década que foi lançado (2012-2022). Deviam ter investido mais em marketing e o game design podia ser diferente do sistema de cartas, que é bem chatinho (mas você se acostuma) e realmente afasta os olhares, fora isso o jogo é surpreendentemente bom, isso vindo de alguém que quando isso lançou olhou de longe e teve zero interesse (especialmente por conta do sistema de cartas).

Who would have guessed PS1 stylized games and surrealism would be such a good mix?

The game has absolutely an unique atmosphere due to its surrealistic elements, which is a hard thing to achieve considering the stylized PS1 B-Horror games are getting a bit saturated by now. Both the visuals and sound design make up to be a great fit in the genre without feeling like a complete '' HEY, LOOK AT MY INDIE PS1 COOL GAME, IT'S OLDSCHOOL '' like most of the games of the sort lately.
It doesn't stress out with cheap jump scares or ear-raping sound design but I'm pretty sure 8yo me would have shat my pants playing this. Basically, it doesn't try hard and just feels right.

As for criticism, there's lack of replay value, it's a short game ( about 60-80 mins ) but has multiple endings. Those multiple endings would add to the replay value but they are seriously so anti climatic that it makes it just not enough ( I've finished two of them, I do plan on doing the others but eh who knows when ).
The fact the documents language is not region-based also doesn't help. While being in french gives 'em a charm and the story might be meh anyways, sometimes you're invested in the atmosphere and curious to know more about characters, the world, etc. I was very disappointed by that.

Anyways, it deserves to be played and will be looking foward to new projects from the developer!

Mhm, my kinda game.

One of the best audiovisual experiences I've ever had.

Visually? Looks bland and uninteresting, on top of having too many camera effects to look '' realistic '' and being extremely dark, to the point sometimes I think everything in my line of vision is concrete.

Gameplay wise? Generic and linear all around. Shoot shoot goes boom boom I guess. Also, controlling the machine gun in the Trolley Combat level is literally one of the most disgusting sections I've played in a game. Anyways, not a hard game (saying this as someone who's 5 hours in, chapter 5 on hardcore difficulty) as long as you have 2 automatic weapons for the monsters and a silenced handgun for the stealth sections. Being instakilled by human enemies while you need to drop a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ammo on them can be annoying tho, I guess.

Writing wise? Forced encounters with nonsense here and there, comic cliches ala Nazis vs Commies, not interesting enough world building to keep me engaged so far. It feels very stereotypical.

Verdict? Overrated, extremely overrated.

damn, on top of resident evil fans being *cringe* they also suck at gaming

Hard to believe this was the sequel to one of the best games of the last decade. Even harder to believe the sequels after this one are somehow even worse.

Stay dead telltale, you're a nice model for how the other 80% '' choice-based '' hipster game developers should end up like, and don't worry, I won't poke your cold dead body.

Beautiful game, cried like a baby at the end even tho I've played it before, years ago.


Too bad telltale bankrupted before they could give it a sequel, but perhaps it was better that way. I bet a franchise would have eventually ruined its brilliant ending!!!

Was searching for some kind of definitive/official yu gi oh online game, found this mobile game instead.
