My favorite part of any dungeon crawler is hiring a squad of misfits, meticulously obsessing over their abilities and inter-party synergies, then venturing out to acquire loot and more and more powerful gear. This game really distills the essence of that experience down into a sweet little idler that I can have on in the background and click over to when I have a free moment.

I picked this up on a whim and am surprised at how much fun it is. Trying to assemble broken decks to game the system is addictive and fun; the devs have somehow wrung a lot of mileage out of those Hit and Stand buttons. I'd love to see a Switch version, this is perfect for that platform.

While the game itself is fantastic, performance is abysmal. Roll the premium pricing, DRM, and microtransaction kerfuffle into the mix, and you've got some unhappy gamers. Until this is resolved, I suggest sitting it out until the game is optimized for the 95% of folks who aren't running absolute top-of-the-line systems, and shame on Capcom for pushing this out the door before it was ready to launch.

As a huge Monster Hunter fan looking forward to Wilds, I will not be pre-ordering or purchasing it at launch, and I want to see the above points addressed by the publisher before I consider getting it.

Deceptively simple to pick up, but richly rewarding as you begin to understand the strategic complexities available. Asynchronous play means this can fit into everyone's schedule, a rarity for anything multiplayer nowadays. Get this game!

I picked this up in early access but haven't seen any buzz for this game since, and I didn't even realize it had launched! More people should be playing this, it's fantastic and scratches the same gameplay itch Hades does, even if the story is absolute pants comparatively.

Having a private server where a few friends build and grow a tiny village adds a lot to the experience; it's fun to see the world evolve from untamed wilderness into cleverly designed castles and towers and homes with well manicured lawns.

You should get this game because it is disturbing, but also fun.
