Early Access Review
Critter Cove is one of the few cozy games that doesn't force you to rely on real world schedules in order to get things done- akin to Stardew Valley. While it is still just Early Access, the developers are active not just in the development but within the game's Steam Discussion forums- posting known issues, answering questions about a glitch or a bug, and informing the playerbase about issues fixed with each update. It still has ups and downs, more than a handful of glitches and some confusing ways the player ends up learning about some of the systems, but it's still a beautiful game worth supporting. Bonus points if you're a furry: You may very well be able to create your fursona 1 to one, and it even includes robot-themed parts!

A few notes about the game that it doesn't explain, before you decide to play:
-If you lose all your hp(while swimming), you're simply teleported to the water's surface with no explanation on the black in your health, energy, and oxygen bars. This is what the game calls an injury- and much like recovering missing hp and energy(which IS explained), you sleep to heal- food will not help you with injuries, though.
-There are points here and there where the water is cold; the game doesn't explain how to go about dealing with this obstacle until you get the clothing shop unlocked.
-Figuring out what the townies like is all trial-and-error. You occasionally are asked to give them something- food, furnature, or clothing -and their reaction will tell you what they think about the style of item you gave them.

That being said, it's still an amazing cozy life sim. Worth the price, if you ask me! The developers are always working to improve the game, and there's still a ways to go before it releases fully!

TL;DR: This game has a lot in common with Subnautica in terms of mechanics, but it can still stand on its own. If you liked that game, you'll love this one!

I got the game while it was still in early access. Likely on a sale, as I tend to wait for sales on things- but if I didn't have it already I'd pay full price for it. It's got tons of replayability similar to games like Minecraft, Subnautica, et cetera; and it has a thin story thread as to -why- you're on the planet to begin with, instead of just okay you're here now go have fun. The story beats come via the communications screens- both yours and the ones you can interact with in the wrecks.

The performance and graphics aren't anything to write home about, but that's the beauty of it if you ask me. It's simple, easy for even a potato like my laptop to run. It can struggle with large amounts of structures and items in one place, but I think that may just be because my laptop was a budget model from 2019. How it runs as smooth as it does for me I will never know.

The game is constantly evolving and gaining new things. It's worth the price, even if you have a budget system.

Early Access Review
Slime Rancher quickly became my comfort game way back when the first game was released in Alpha. Now, the game has been redone in an amazing way; it has story beats hidden throughout the world and it's incredible to view and even just play casually if you don't care about story. I love wrangling my little slimes and booping their snoots.

Amazing addition to the Pac-Man franchise. Even when I've finished all the maps, I always feel like there's more to do! Beating my old scores, setting faster times, and generally having alot of fun.

Can't even open inventory. Tried restarting demo several times. Not worth it to buyt the full thing if the demo won't even work right.

It was fun... until I ha to close it. When I tried to re-launch the game after opening it once it crashed my display driver, which then recovered, and closed itself. No matter WHAT I do, it keeps doing this.

First off, it only has one screen size. If you need to resize the game, you cut off some of the bottom. Allow players to change the window size and MAYBE I'll play it again.

City of Steam: Arkadia is a fun game if you ignore all the microtransactions. Yes, there's endless microtransactions, but the bottom line to the game itself is that everything affecting the storyline comes for free. What I've noticed is that they've added a new currency- Account-bound Electrum, which can be used for most electrum transactions. This electrum you CAN earn, through clock-in rewards and login bonuses. That aside, this game is like World of Warcraft for those who can't afford WoW. And to those of you complaining about it being Pay2Win? That's only in PVP, and PVP is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! If you don't PVP, it's a fair game.

Very fun game. Although, If I try to play it over, it crashes at the generator console part, where you gotta shut down the generator console.
