best ♥♥♥♥ i've played since the original half life 1. expands it, makes it glow, gives new sequencing. play this on the hardest difficulty to get the good experience.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare has a fantastic use of sound design and level design, but it's flaws stick out like a sore thumb. The game is painfully short and very much like an arcade zombie shooting game with of course, more interactivity. This game had incredible potential but it fell short for me. I still think it is very atmospheric and worth a buy for it's atmosphere.
