First off I just want to say that I have played every Call of Duty since COD4. I like every game up until MW3 (it was meh), I liked BO2 and I just despised Ghosts. That game sucked.

Multiplayer:
But this game, this game is good. It brings a lot of new things to the table, the exo abilities are balanced very well. The gun sounds aren't GOOD but they still sound pretty cool. The graphics aren't complete crap like they were in Ghosts, there's an FOV slider (that sadly only goes up to 90, but still really good that they have it on launch), and the game actually runs well. Here are my pros and cons for the multiplayer:

Pros:
- Very balanced with the exo mechanics
- Pretty good graphics (for a COD game albeit)
- FOV slider up to 90
- FOV slider included at launch
- Game runs very well

Cons:
- The EM1 laser is very OP at the time of writing this review (11/5/14) - especially at close range.
- Sometimes textures don't fully load for a few minutes
- FOV slider up to 90 (I play at 100, so that's why this is on here, too)
- Player clipping is pretty big problem in this game

Campaign:
Just a note - I haven't yet finished the campaign. I'm about a fourth of the way through it.

Pros:
- Same good graphics as MP
- Cutscenes look ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing (screenshot of Kevin Spacey on my profile)
- Kevin Spacey

Cons:
- No FOV slider
- Enemies can sometimes be overwhelming and I die quickly

This game is a 6/10. Personally I don't think that Call of Duty is a good game (anymore) but I still get that nostalgia everytime a play a COD game, which is why I continually play them. Of course I am rating it based on the multiplayer, if you want the singleplayer rating, 4/10. Only thing I cared about was Soap dying

The game mechanics are a bit odd from pervious games. For example, when you instinctively change weapons twice very fast it has a weird thing with some secondary guns where it is really slow, but that is just a minor thing.

Sadly I was VAC banned from the game, and I am not ashamed of it. It showed me that Valve was serious about VAC, and sometimes I do wish I wasn't banned so that I could return to Nostalgia-land and have a fun 10 to 20 minutes of play time. If you are wondering why I ironically have 2 VAC bans, the other is from MW2. No matter what Valve says I'm certain that it was because I was de-ranked and I think the rapid change in stats resulted in triggering a VAC ban. But oh well. There's plenty of other games to play.

Above all I don't recommend PURCHASING the game, but I still recommend it. Only reason I don't think you should buy it is because the servers are pretty much dead and not many people play it except for Europeans or Russians. So if you're in the USA you are gonna have pretty bad ping most of the time.

Terribly optimized. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC port. Overall the game sucks.
