If you liked Jedi: Fallen Order then you will definitely like this game even more
It improves on the combat, dialogue, story and characters
It's also a bit longer but doesn't outstay its welcome

Personally, I mostly played Jedi: Fallen Order for the combat and didn't really like the characters (even Cal). But the dialogue and story in this game is written by a different (and imo better) writer which made the characters a lot more likeable

The main negative is that there isn't as much variety in planets you can visit - but I think that the rest more than makes up for this
Another point to note would be that this game is not fully optimised. However, I was able to run it on a computer from 2018 on regular/low graphics and it still looked great

Gordon is the man

Decent story but not enough choices unfortunately
but in my opinion still worth playing if you like telltale or batman, plus the second season is also good

Good game-play but the story is a step down from part 1. It's bloated and has pacing issues. It feels much more like a video game with all characters just being able to travel around post apocalyptic America like it's fast travel. The story here does not flow naturally - most of the story is just characters going from A to B leading to a new cutscene and then from B to C. Aside from the main few twists, the story is fairly predictable. There is also a big reliance on flashbacks which is always an indicator of bad writing.

Despite the game being twice the length of the first, the characters feel less developed and less relatable as they are all either insane/psychopathic or cookie cutter "bad-asses" who all speak in the same banter-some way.

The soundtrack is worse - the first game has a great and memorable main theme with good combat music (love the drums). This one has no memorable OST.

The factions are worse. There are fewer factions to fight and they are all either psychopathic or cult-like. Where are the regular humans like in part 1? This breaks immersion and makes the world feel like a video game full of enemies to kill rather than a living, breathing world.

The areas are worse. The majority of the game takes place in one location where the scenery and enemies are all the same. From a game-play perspective, this is just boring. There is no sense of wonder like in the first game where there were many different views and locations to look at.

Still probably worth playing if you don't have much else as the gameplay is still fun. But I am leaving a negative review as I am personally disappointed.

Great story especially season 1. Even though choices don't affect overall story beats, they can have decent impacts on the journey e.g. keeping a character alive for the next episode vs letting them die which makes choices feel meaningful.

Highly recommended if you are a fan of the walking dead and still recommended if you are not into it.

On sale fairly often so can be a good value purchase.

Visuals are decent.
Acting is okay at best and incredibly boring/generic at worst.
Music is forgettable.
Story is boring and feels pointless at the end.
I liked/cared about very few characters in the game. The lead (Cal) is the most generic blank slate goody two shoes Star Wars character I have ever seen. Makes Rey and Anakin look Shakespearean.
Combat is okay but is a bit janky and becomes ridiculously frustrating at the end.

The opening sequences on the ship building place are really intriguing and introduced a new cool part of Star Wars that also made sense thematically. But everything after paled in comparison. Map design is sometimes cool but the maps can be very complicated to get around in which makes it annoying to get to places or get back to the ship. 100%ing this game is out of the question for anyone who has a life

I'm not a huge modder but my modded original skyrim looks far better than this. Some textures havent been changed (or hardly at all) and the animations are still the same :/

I might play it when it has better mod support but for now there really is no reason - no skyui, no skse, many of the mods I use wont work

Of course mod support alone doesnt mean its a bad game, but much of it hasnt changed and the same bugs are still there along with new ones

To everyone saying "Well they didnt promise a remake - they promised a REMASTER" - that doesnt mean the remaster is very good.

The only thing that we havent already had on PC is better stablity and 64bit (there may be a few other similar improvements I don't know about).

One of the things I dislike most is how they havent updated the character models much. Also the physics is attached the framerate (again!)
