At first Squad was a great game to play, even when going into random public. The level of communication back then made it easy for folks to enjoy the game as complete noobs.

But the last few updates have made the game less enjoyable, or out right frustrating. The increasing number of bugs that cause an entire server to crash, or maps to no longer be playable is outrageous. This isn't a game I would recommend at this time due to the increasing server crashes that just ruin the fun the game once had.

A good ARPG that can help fill the void oh the many RTS/turn based wh 40k games out there. The game does capture the grim interiors of the 40k ships, while other environments can feel lacking. A decent game that is possible to play on your own, or even better with friends.

While still waiting for SOD 2 to arrive, SOD YOSE is still a great game to enjoy. Although it's only a solo player game, developing individual attachment to your survivers and community helps mask that lack of co op in this first installment.
