I've enjoyed the game for all the time I've played, but it's hard to recommend it in its current state.
I think it's worth the asking price when there are people playing regularly like earlier this year, but the game just doesn't retain players. The game hasn't received any updates attempting to address this core issue and until it does I can't recommend it to a new player.

This game is like wearing one of the most comfortable shoes in the world, but the shoe has a pebble stuck in it that you can't get out.

This is an incredible game, full of originality, heaps of content and replayability, tons of player agency and a really fun gameplay loop. However, it is plagued by nonsensical design decisions and bugs that impact my experience of the game every single time I play it.

Bugs like the cursor not staying locked to the game window, causing me to click on stuff on my second monitor and tabbing me out of the game and server issues causing frequent disconnects during coop, and design decisions like the incredibly long wait to quit out of the game and popups always automatically hovering on "no" instead of "yes", forcing me to move my mouse cursor, sometimes mid-combat, to select yes, severely impact my enjoyment of the game. Bringing the game from one of my favourites, to something I always find myself getting frustrated at while playing.

Lots of fun, loads of content with more to be added. The game can feel quite rng heavy at first, but once you realise there are tons of things you can do skill-wise you realise there is a lot of skill involved in this game. For example, simply managing your time, making sure you're not spending too long in stages, but still staying long enough to get a decent amount of items, can make a big impact on the success of a run.

Loads of content, good fun.

What a joke

I have 2,682.5hrs and counting, still bad at the game.

(23/03/2017) EDIT: After upgrading to a gtx 1060 6gb I can get 50 - 60 fps, 1920x1080 highest settings.
Game's good fun, the batmobile sections near the end can be quite long and boring. Other than that, the game is pretty solid and definitely worth the new price, 20 Euro.

Original Post: After 28th June (2015) I can get a solid 28 - 31 FPS on very low settings. The game still looks pretty good.
I'm using a Nvidia gtx 660 (which is on the minimum requirements), Intel Core i7-3770 CPU 3.4GHz, 16gb RAM. I'm using also Windows 7.
Benchmark test gave me 44fps average.

The game itself is extremely good, well recommended. The story is very well done and the combat is pretty good. I can understand why people say the combat is a bit easy as you can literally spam left click for a lot of things, but later on in the game it does get a bit harder. The combat is still pretty fun. The batmobile is awesome, you really do feel like a monster while you're driving through the city. I can understand why some people think there is a bit too much batmobile, but I really enjoy using the batmobile so it doesn't affect me as much.

I haven't crashed at all after 11hrs of gameplay, I found some minor glitches. An example of one that annoyed me:
To jump out of the batmobile you have to tap space and then hold space. If you only double tap space and don't hold the second press, the batmobile will slow down to a complete stop and you are unable to go forwards or backwards. In order to fix this you need to go into battlemode and move around a bit, when you go back to pursuit mode you should be able drive around fine.

To give it a proper rating I would like to finish the game so I'll come back to my review once I have done that. There is a lot more for Rocksteady to fix, they made a list of what they are going to be doing. From my experience I'd recommend the game, although I'd suggest looking at the reviews posted after the 28th June.
