I was introduced to this game watching virtue signaling pretentious ♥♥♥♥♥ on YT. The game itself has a lot in common with GTA series or other criminal shooters. It's fun, and has some cool workshop mods.

Unfortunately, the suicide option is just a low effort "you died" screen without any work put into it. Not as edgy I was hoping for.

Philosophy good, game bad

Let's address the creepy elephant in the room that many sick developers are guilty of. This game has only one end boss and the powerups are far too over-powered! There I said it.

Too fast, had to slow it down

No camera controls. If you're going to have a fixed camera view, at least make it reasonable. I like space games, but I'd rather not look down on my character from outer space, especially in an action-rpg.

🔥 otherwise though. Best played with a gamepad using Pre-slayer edition.

Probably the best C&C in the series. Also, with a few tweaks (or even without [check guides]) it runs great on modern hardware.

It's almost a viable game at this point, for 15 seconds.

So this is where it gets better? Well, the view is better. Still full of aggravating brainrot though.

This is the best remaster of an RTS game I've played. Just about everything was done right.

For rally points, wall building, attack-move, and other quality of life features, I highly recommend use of the CFE Patch Redux workshop mod or one similar to it.

I'm a veteran console player, and I love this game. The PC version is plagued by modded, "hacked" lobbies. There's some good ideas in the variants, but it breaks the immersion of the game. In the variant I played you didn't need a map, but there were maps in drawers all over the map. So there were really dumb changes like that. Also, far as I can tell, Jason(s) NEVER go into Rage. While I was never a fan of total immunity to stun, Rage is important late game. It's unfortunate there isn't a persistent normal lobby.

Not being able to post in the forums unless you own the game is also a big minus. Terrible way to market a game. Just something I noticed before I bought it.

Update: As of late 2022, the cheat lobbies are gone, making the game relatively playable on PC.

Update Aug 2023: What a mess. Half the perks are gone. Challenges are all ticked off. Annoying modded cheat lobbies are back, and the game won't even be sold after December.
This game should not be so reliant on the database. Just have people run their own database on their own servers. There are unofficial servers for all kinds of games out there.
