this game has been abandoned for a long time now. there was a roadmap planned, until Team17 abandoned the dev team and the franchise. without the publisher backing, the dev team didnt have enough resources into developing the game further, since they already spent years in development hell trying to make this 3D sequel.
its hard for me to say this, but avoid at all costs. if it's on sale for more than 80%, then maybe try it.

Sheltered scratched an itch for me. the itch for playing survival-management games. i dont have a particular reason as to why im addicted to Sheltered, maybe its because its like Fallout Shelter but none of the predatory microtransactions. there's definitely potential in this sequel to be a cult classic, but the lifeline was cut too soon. the pets update was only the first step in their roadmap btw.

go play oxygen not included instead. (if you have the money for the DLCs)

Papers, Please, but worse.
It's...
BRITISH

Aside from the joke, if you still have the itch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people over documents, this is great fun. Expansive storyline and beautiful pixel art. The music selection is nice too. Fits the vibe of the game (although most of the time you'll be hearing it through doors).

This thumbs up is to represent the quality of the game, not the company.
Reviews are for the game, unless said more.

Ages like fine wine. Except for the features in this version with the sole purpose of milking the game (I'm looking at you, collage). ZA/UM will forever be a one-game brand name. Not even a studio.

Got jumpscared by the Linux terminal.
Anyways. Don't wanna spoil the game here, what I can say here than: it's just another Mike Klubnika masterpiece that may leave you with a little bit of trauma. Short, but with how immersive the gameplay was, definitely worth it ONLY if it's on sale, or you enjoy a short and impactful experience. If not, buy Buckshot Roulette.

Bought this game on sale to also gift to my friends.

It's great fun! The music selection is a banger of a list. The main single-player campaign although I haven't played through much of it, it does seem expansive at a glance.

But the meat is in the MULTIPLAYER. Even though the matching system of OpenSpy is at times, buggy, but with the right conditions, you're looking at a 2000's LAN party vibes. I might be losing on most of the matches, but the game is too damn fun to care about losing. Highly recommend even if it's not on sale.
