A really fun and well-done cyberpunk mystery that serves as a fantastic follow up to the first episode. Great characters, incredible style, and a very well written trial.

Phenomenal style and concept with some of the most well done and disturbing sound design I've heard in a game. Absolutely a must play of indie horror

Absolutely beautiful game with a pretty interesting setting and great voice acting. The body horror gets pretty damn good as it progresses and the characters feel very compelling. Definitely one of the coolest games I've played in a while

This game could be really cool, but it has a few problems that make it not worth your time. First, the ui is really unclear about a lot of things. It takes a lot of digging in your journal to answer basic questions like "what does pollution do?". The bigger problem though is the performance; The game stutters when spawning enemies, or even just when tabbing back to it. If they add more clarity to how the game actually works and improve the performance, it'll be worthwhile.

This game is fantastically stylish and really fun to play. It took me about 20 hours to 100% it, and part of that was only due to crashes and freezes that have been fixed with the most recent update. The soundtrack is really well done, the combat is fun, and the characters and story are very interesting. My main complaints are that the movement (specifically jumping) can be a little hard to control at times, and that a lot of the cutscenes in the english version are narrated by a person who has a very heavy accent and doesn't deliver a lot of the lines well. The writing could be a bit improved, but I think that's mostly an issue of translation. Overall, absolutely worth playing for any fans of fantasy action games.

Up there with Bastion in the group of "incredibly gorgeous action rpgs that I couldn't put down". Idea is super cool, world is gorgeous, soundtrack is incredible if a little repetitive. Absolutely amazing game.

Update after finishing the game: The main story starts kinda dumb and gets worse and worse, the plot is horrible and the endings are all so terrible that they ruin everything good about the game. Only worth investing time in to do sidequests and wander around. The sidequests are actually good, way better than the main quests, and some of the characters have interesting arcs. I wrote my review below after like 20 hours and I enjoyed the game up to that point, but it all went downhill from there.

To start with, this is absolutely worth playing. Frankly, it's way better than a lot of professional stuff I've paid good money for (cyberpunk 2077, for example). Would I pay $60 for it? Yes. Would I say it's on par with well-made modern games? Not completely, but that's almost entirely because of the limitations of the engine and the fact that it's free. This is a mod with more content and more soul than almost every other game I've played recently, at no cost! My only real complaints are that the intro is very slow, which could turn away some players, and that the first couple hours are really difficult. However, it only gets better from there. By level 7 I wasn't having nearly as much trouble in combat in the early game areas, which seems to be the biggest complaint in other reviews. The only thing about this game that doesn't feel triple-A is the voice acting, and that's because it isn't - given that they had literally no budget for sound equipment and recording, it's incredible. This feels like a highly polished, well-made indie version of Skyrim. It's gorgeous, the world is huge, it takes the systems from Skyrim and expands on them in meaningful and interesting ways, and the only times your immersion is broken are brief and completely understandable given that the game is free. If there's even a single person involved in this mod that isn't offered a job by a game studio, something's wrong with the world. Play this, immerse yourself in the characters, appreciate the incredible amount of work and love that was put into it, and support the creators. I have never seen any non-professional project as mind blowing as Enderal. This is truly a masterpiece of fan-made content.

It's a soulsborne game, but anime. There are plenty of anime tropes, but the character stories are genuinely moving and the gameplay is really solid. Not a perfect game, but very worth playing if you're fine with a couple plot holes in exchange for fun, high-difficulty combat and a somewhat unique storyline. Some of the most fun I've had in a game of it's type.

IMO the best game ever made, almost every part of it is fantastic. Characters are complex and interesting, story twists and turns but makes sense, incredible world building and detail. Even the side quests and extra areas are interesting and well-developed. The amazing graphics help too

A beautiful game with a very unique method of story telling. The characters are the best I've ever experienced in a game, and the writing is so realistic that sometimes I forget that I'm not playing through a true story. Well worth it for the price, and the replayability is definitely pretty good.
