wow, lemme just say this. I bought this for the cool looking mechanics, and singeplayer after enjoying Tac Ops. To say the least the first mission "First Impressions Matter" is the most ironic mission title ever. It is so boring. I can't even advance through the first contacts without being 1 shotted 20 times (literally) and having to reload the save. This isn't fun at all. I'm not even gonna waste my time trying to complete the mission. Bohemia you've really let me down on this.

Gotta say after playing this with 4 of my buddies this is hands down the funniest game we've played. Definetely worth every penny. Especially with friends.

Has its quirks, but because it is developed by a few select people this game has definitely came very far. If the progress they've made shows anything this game will become an awesome game eventually.

Great story, tons of fun. Dark souls of star wars.

Yeah I was hoping to love this game, but couldn't, here's my reasons.

1. This game has the most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking system in the history of gaming. I try to pull up the server list, have to wait a literal minute for the list to show, then when I try to join a game it kicks me because the server is full and I have to go through the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ process.

2. Combat is just boring, and repetitive. This game seems like it would be action packed but it is quite the opposite.

If I'm being honest the matchmaking alone probably ruins this game for me the most. I can't be bothered to sit here and fiddle around with this broken system to get into a server. I don't care if I don't have many hours in this game at all, cause I don't need 200 hours to tell you that this is a broken hunk of junk. It's just gonna be yet another early access title that stays in early access and flops.

So for this review I will be spoiler free as to not ruin the experience.

Bohemia Interactive definetely did an amazing job out there with this campaign. Although I can't say it's award winning, the performance is definetely amazing. When you hop into the campaign you will right away be attached to the characters around you. The voice acting, and the humanization of these characters is just amazing. Doesn't feel bland and all these characters have something to bring to the table. I actually laughed at a lot of jokes between friends made in this campaign. I will say that the campaign is sound gameplay wise, and keeps you on your toes. Playing as a drone operator who wanted to be a translator but got sidestepped essentially by google translate is hilarious.

In all honesty don't think the DLC is worth $27.99 despite my rather positive review, try to get it on sale if you can, as you are essentially paying $30 for a roughly 6-7 hour campaign.

Sorry but the game just doesn't do it for me. I'm a huge fan of other paradox games like EUIV and HOIIV and have over 1,000 hours on both, but this game brings nothing new to the table and regresses in terms of features in comparison to previous titles. Was excited to play, only could stomach it for a week, and wish I'd just refunded the game while I could of. Trust me, not worth a single dime of your money. Let paradox learn a lesson and hopefully change other games for the better. A serious waste of potential sadly.
