I heard how good this game was supposed to be, so when I finally got around to playing it, I had high hopes.
But my expectations could not have been surpassed more!
This is quite easily the best game I've played for years, especially considering the fact there is virtually nothing bad about it.
I have played some very memorable games, but they all have some (although sometimes minor) downsides.
It Takes Two however, simply does not.
The controls are great, the visuals are great, the technical performance is great, the story is great, the gameplay is super creative and varied, the environments are gorgeous, the integration of coop gameplay is very well done, and even the story length feels great, being plenty long but never getting boring. (although I would LOVE a sequel!)

all in all, if you think you MIGHT like this game, you will probably LOVE it!

Great dialogue, lots of easter eggs, and just all-round fun. :)

I Bought the game on sale because I had heard the campaign was good, and I was not disappointed!
It rarely happens that I complete a game, let alone within 3 days of buying it. The story is pretty good, but the way that story is told through gameplay is what really sells it.

The gameplay starts out relatively simple, with just the addition of the parkour movement (which feels great btw!). But as the campaign progresses, the parkour becomes more and more complex, and more elements are added to the puzzle/tactical feeling of a lot of levels.

This keeps the gameplay super fresh and challenging, and even through to the final levels of the campaign, the game keeps throwing new cool mechanics at you. It reminded me at times of the Portal games in terms of the creative level design and how fluid the gameplay feels while doing some super crazy manoeuvres that make you feel like a superhero!

I would have loved the campaign to be longer, but due to it's relatively short length of 6 hours, it never ever gets boring and it feels really action packed, going from one super creative action scene into the next.

I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but even if that is a complete disaster this game is EASILY worth the money just for the campaign.

A very interesting story packed within a challenging but not too hard puzzle game.
A nice additional challenge can be found in the extra side levels, which can be VERY tricky and reward you with an interesting perspective of the story.

All put together with solid graphics and a great soundtrack, it's a great single player game to just relax and enjoy.

Easily worth the price!

Great heavily teamwork based multiplayer game!
Works best though if you can use voicechat and work together with your team.
so no lone wolf/rambo action, it will ruin the game for you and others!!

Emotional piece of brilliance!
This game combines great gameplay, great art and a unique and powerful story in a way i've never experienced before.
I STRONGLY recommend this game, but please, take your time, and play through it in one sitting.
This is too good to casually try out or play.
seriously, buy it and play it! NOW!

oh and a fair warning: this game might make you cry. ^^
