If you've grown weary of Dying Light and you've never played this, grab it on discount and have a great time with some co-op friends.

Early Access Review
Mix 1 part of Gauntlet (arcade version) with 1 part of Diablo, then mix together. Bake in the oven until done and you'll get Shadow of the Depth.

Seriously this is a fun roguelike game with minimal depth but nonetheless fun and a bit addicting. Each of the characters necessitate a different playstyle and unlocking the character you desire isn't hard to accomplish.

Addictive, fun, action packed, and cooperative. What more could you want in a game? "Levels" are somewhat randomized keeping you on your toes each play through to keep each play through fresh. But it isn't just the levels that are somewhat randomized. The bosses you'll encounter in each area is somewhat randomized.

While you can bring up to two friends to maximize the fun, you'll still find a few more than a few individuals you can join or are willing to join you on the quest for better loot to maximize your "build" to your liking.

Grab both DLCs to maximize your fun and IF you get bored, download the Remnant from Hell mod on Nexus mods for even more fun.

Is there anything better than putting down the universal enemy we can all agree on, zombies and nazis. Grab it on sale because it doesn't advance the gameplay from Zombie Army Trilogy but is nonetheless a lot of fun to be had with friends or by yourself. If you're getting bored with Left for Dead... give this a whirl.

The trouble with this game is that it wasn't before L4D and LFD2. Because of this it will inevitably be compared to LFD2. In my personal opinion Back 4 Blood were first in the coop zombie shooter genre, LFD wouldn't have sold well. I know that sounds confusing.

You may be asking is Back 4 Blood better than Left for Dead? Yes... and no. No because many of B4D's special zombies are essentially copy cats of the special zombies from LFD2. There is a Spitter type, an exploding Boomer type, and more. Yes it's better due to the card system and plethora of gun types.

If you've never played Left for Dead 2, this game is a great purchase. If you have, know that this will not scratch your itch for Left for Dead 3. Buy it on sale, it is not worth full price +$50.00.

It's the definitive 4 player coop experience! L4D2 never gets old with several mods (maps, skins, and etc.) to download from the Steam Workshop. Do you want to play from the mall in Night of the Living Dead, maybe you want to swap the Tank with Shrek or Stay Puff The Marshmallow Man, or maybe you'd like to play as grizzled survivors or survivors with gear from The Division, the Steam Workshop keeps things fresh.

In versus mode you'll encounter tryhard hackers and those who take the mode so seriously that they must not have a life outside the game. Other than that, you'll have a fun experience. Grab some friends and play co-op or make some friends into frenemies in versus mode, either way, you'll have a good time.

Diner Dash, eat your heart out!!! Overcooked is a lot more fun and active playing. You will never get sick of playing this game, and when played with friends in local co-op, its even more fun. This is a must game for family game night if you have a PC hooked up to your television

Since the release of this game I stayed away, thinking it wouldn't be much different than Vermintide 1. At some point last year (2018) I got a bit bored with Vermintide 1 and decided to read the reviews here. Several reviews had believable complaints of anti-cheat banning the gamer who claimed they didn't cheat.

During the recent free to play weekend I decided to jump in and play. WOW! I was so wrong in my assumptions of not being much different than Vermintide 1. The bosses/monsters speak adding to the atmosphere of the game, enemy types vary beyond the skaven in Vermintide 1 giving the game a different "feel". Character level progression as well as item progression is arguably better. Lastly the maps in my opinion are more diverse.

Personally it would be great if an additional character were added such as a Thief or Rogue like male or female character. Does anyone remember or know of Tasselhoff from the Dragonlance series of books.

This is a great game and in my opinion would be made even better if a DLC added PVP option in which 2 teams are pitted against each other and one team were the enemy type characters such as Left for Dead. It could be fun to spawn as an Assassin Rat (Hunter), Rat Gunner, Rat Ogre, Chaos Warrior, and etc.

Early Access Review
There aren't many early access games in this genre that delivers on the "fun" of buying into an early access game. Project Zomboid delivers!! Have you ever wondered how you'd survive if Zombies were to take over your town, state, country, planet? Now you can play out your "strategy".

With the multiplayer option all I can say is this. If you wished State of Decay had multiplayer Project Zomboid will satisfy your wish.

If you like the cooperation of Left for Dead and the xpm! mod you'll love this game. 6 person co-op with a bit of rpg elements thrown in for good measure. Killing Floor was an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod YEARS before the first Left for Dead was released. Some of the infected Left for Dead enemies are near rip offs of the Killing Floor specimens. It's a great game.... you'll have a good time playing it. Even my wife loves it... : )
