Game is trash. It's a port of a phone game. Reviews are all fake.
Publisher raised the game price from 1.99 to 39.99 right as the new Godzilla x King Kong movie came out, probably in an attempt to swindle some uninformed parents.

I don't know why the game needed a name change. How about fixing the cross-progression and purchases instead? My loadouts are completely different on every platform and all the cosmetic packs I buy on the Steam store don't show up for use on consoles.

Not sure why they had to ruin a decade old game with crappy Epic integration on the Steam version that ran perfectly fine.

A fully fleshed out platform fighter that adds content regularly with a development team that is open and receptive to feedback from its fans.
Pricing of cosmetics is a bit off but that's WB's fault (the publisher) but otherwise everything else is free.

Never received the pre-order items, Koei Tecmo is such a petty and trash company that it's a joke. Whenever English speaking people talk about the worst game companies, they mention only western ones and KT gets overlooked all the time. I'd argue they're as bad if not worse than some of the worst western companies and I often like to call them the "Japanese EA".

Okay, lets actually talk about the game now. It boots up in a tiny windowed mode. Whatever, I'll just go and fix that in the options menu. Xbox controller that was already plugged in, not working. Okay, I'll just use my keyboard then. Pressing down arrow to go to the option selection works fine, now lets actually open the options menu. That's weird, no other key does anything. Only up and down arrow works. I use my mouse to close the game, uninstall it and forget it even exists.

Screw you KT.

No one plays. Forums are a ghost town. The game was okay but you can't even get into a match. Just go play the plethora of other third person shooters out there.

While yes you do get a really good boat and the horn roar/camo are cool, you pay about $40 for similar bundles. So you're really paying an additional $50+ just to get a character to show up on your boat at the port screen in between matches. Not even remotely worth the price.
