i liked this game well enough as a teenager but revisiting it now it's like, oh. the whole game is mashing cooldowns through random battle encounters while checking off a million sidequests that all play the same. do this until you uninstall i guess. the story is fun but everything else feels so vapid i can't really recommend it... :/

moonlit farewell is such a step down from the last momo game it's actually crazy to me. it's like the dev watched every game maker's toolkit video and "good game design" primer and ran all the way with it, because everything feels so... cynically made? every secret is highlighted on the map, aggressive autosave makes dying meaningless, combat is fluid but mind-numbingly easy, sequence breaking is not possible whatsoever... i think the worst offender is the fishing system that only involves pressing A at a few pre-determined spots, popping up a fish name with no graphic, and no function beyond that. it's only there to market it as having "fishing". anyway yeah i recommend momodora 4 over this one any day LOL

really really fun spin on the minecraft formula that mixes in witty DQ dialogue, jrpg staples and LOOOOTS of town building into something resembling a typical dragon quest story. there are some ~genuine peak gaming~ moments and you'll see what i mean if you make it near the end of the jumbo demo. i wouldn't say it's a proper minecraft replacement but i had much more fun playing this than any of my singleplayer mc games.

gurumin is about a cute girl with five billion animations running around 2004 platformer world with a drill sword and hanging out with monsters. it's the best game of all time?

i've tried getting into the game about a dozen times now (completed an expedition, even), but it never once feels like it goes anywhere beyond lasering rocks and janky base building. 8 years of updates have really only slightly streamlined this and added a bevy of superficial features that require more rock lasering x_x

well, surely they won't mess up TES6 right. right?

cute tactics rpg with a nice story and a solid main trio who can be both angsty and a bit stupid. flonne is oomfie #1 :) do not play the postgame if you value yourself as a human being i'm serious.
