Please make a matchmaking system, literally cannot even start trying to accumulate gear or do quests as highly geared players can run in rustbucket class ships and fight people who have no ability to retaliate against them in any way

Do not get this game thinking it would be like Elden Ring or Dark Souls. The Souls series is an RPG where your character progressively gets slightly better over time. Armored Core is where you sit for an equal amount of time out of combat as within it peering over part specifications to determine if switching out your head for the slight drop in EN Load can effectively increase an energy weapon loadout. Game currently has some slight flaws in some early balancing and the arena(Halo 2 got it right, tank beats *Everything*) but in total I'd call this a Triumphant return for Armored Core and proof that mecha combat games don't have to be slow.

Its more Dark Souls, but needs to fix some of the netcode, 85% of invasions\cooperations end with connection errors.

All in all a bland return of a great series. Hopefully they make it better in the future but at release I can't endorse this title in the series
