Durn freakin dangity heck! Fallout New Vegas really, _REALLY_ doesn't like my new computer. Guess I'm never going to get around to finishing it... Might have to try Wastelands 2 when it's out instead.

Was just thinking, one mode that is missing all-too-often from games these days is mutli-player co-op. Sure, while it does seem to be coming back into fashion with some developers, I've found it to be one of the most commonly overlooked by developers but asked for features by gamers for years.

Recommendations could do with an edit button. Having to copy, delete, restart, paste and edit is ridiculous in this day and age.

How old is Steam? I can't believe it has been around all these years and is still unbelieveably crap at some things. Sure the screenshots feature is newer but it's slow, unwieldy, and at times doesn't even function at all. It definitely does a rather poor job at letting people manage their uploaded screenshots. I've got comments I can't edit or remove, and pictures I can't replace.

The one thing that pisses me off more about Steam than anything else is the amount of freaking updates. I swear you get updates on your updates while updating a prior update. If Microsoft Windows updated as much as Steam, there would be a sudden rise in suicides the world over. Valve, freaking get it together! You've had damn long enough to do so.

Turns out after all this time that the crazy physics I've seen in games that use the Bethesda Fallout/Oblivion/Skyrim engine can be fixed just by turning on VSynch or limiting your FPS to 60 or so (maximum 100). For some reason they have their physics engine tied to frame rate. That's a pretty darn bad way to write an engine of this sort. I'm quite surprised to be honest. I tried it and it works. It's nice to enter a room without half the items ricocheting around as if a bomb has gone off, or accidentally booting a wooden cart half way across the town just because you nudged it.

I declare I'm a Terraria addict. In any case as I only play multi-player anyone who wants the password and IP to join in send me a message via Steam.
