VR for this game is fundamentally broken. Launching the game the normal way from Steam VR results in no available input, and a main menu that is impossible to interact with. After 15 minutes of googling it turns out that instead of "Launch" from inside VR you have to go into launch details, then "Play game in VR". A professionally released VR game should 'just work', requiring googling and weird workarounds just to be able to select "New game" on the main menu is completely unacceptable.

Secondly, the 3d view caching/reprojection that Unreal Engine does is total garbage. I can forgive the mirage like visual artifacts around my hands when I move them, but having the entire view shimmer in a hallucinogenic way every time you use the teleport movement is a dealbreaker.

I considered just playing this game the regular way without VR but frankly I'm so disappointed by the shoddy quality of this game that I don't wish to support the developers at all. I'll have my money back, and they can either do VR right or not advertise it as a feature.
