Bannerman is one of the best titles I have played recently. Some say it gets boring, and while it can get boring back to the front lines cause that boss just kicked you where the sun don't shine for the 10th time, focing you back to the beggining to fight all the underlings, it brings a unqiue challnge to the game. Minus the magic, currency, health potions, and armor, this is a 2-D game that is much like Dark Souls, but it is not a cheap replica of aforementioned game.

This looks like a very good game at first glace, seeing I have no real experience in-game, but I am really turned off due to the lack of a tutorial.

I usually play support classes, but I have zero clue as how to play the medic, or any other class for that matter due to a lack of any kind of newbie support.

Please make a tutorial and help us out.

Is this a mobile game: Yes
Do I usuallly hate mobile games: Yes
Do I hate Pay Wall, CoC, MMO?, with Premium Currencies that are required for progression found on most mobile games: Yes

Do I like Grinds: No
Fortunately, this game follows an alternate path of games, and is a God send from Path of War, CoC, remakes that are absolute crap. It is grindy at times, but it can get really tough with forced micro-management. I sometimes have to slow the game to half-speed to save the men I got from an un-predicted surge from hell. Add in the kamikazees and throwers who turn your game for the worst as you men aim at the closest zombies, not the ones of most import and you have a challenge on your hand defending your "towers" not an objective.
I also like the payment style. Anything you don't spend plus a 10% bonus at the end usable for upgrades is a good way of pushing for efficiency in the game. The game does counter grinding as well with decreases in the amount of money you get from dropping zombies.
Overall, if you don't mind grinding to beat a challenge and you have a decent idea of tactics, this game is for you.

Would I rather ....

1) Wait 3 months for a CoC town hall upgrade ...

-or-

2) Play this game for 20 minutes to write a negative review about how retarded this game is.

Technically I'd wait for 3 months, but I feel that this game needs it. I played about 2 hours one night when I was bored and had nothing to do. I saw it, I downloaded it, I deleted it because (although I thought the combat system was unique and I could allocate units to defense ...) there is a massive paywall, just like CoC. Seeing it on steam, I wanted to check it out ... the game doesn't load, and even if it did, I still would have given it a negative review. Why? Because it is a reoccuring parasite called a MOBILE game. Steam, for the LOVE OF GOD, stop putting this SH*T on here. We don't want it. (Now then, if we actually had the option to get the non-p2w, CoC remake, SH*T games, there might be some interest in them. Since there won't be any, I am just wasting my breath.)

Early Access Review
As this game stands, it is my favorite and it is one of the best f2p, non-p2w, no ad games on steam, the champion to it of course is TF2. Now, the game is a little buggy, but it runs on a craptop, yes a craptop. Running through what I like about the game ...

Pros: - 100% F2P
- Movable objects for barriccade use
- Explosive red barrels ... cliche but hey, explosives.
- Unique classes with different strengths and weaknesses
- INSANE MODE!
- Custom noob confusig, pro loving maps
- Freindly Fire (sometimes)
- The almighty corner crouch as support with a box infront, dumb zombies even more out front, unlimited ammo, and near-permanent invincibility (zombies learn by examining other zombies how to jump on crates somtimes ...)

Cons: - Players from Russia, Czechoslovakia, Romania, etc. running around everywhere
- Little kids spamming mic
- Dumb people who think Team Kill is cool, don\'t know what a sentry is, or how and when to deploy a supply crate to barricade zombies out.

It is a very intereting game. The MMO aspect of this is quite cool to say the least. I know wildfire is the best character, dustwing is hard to play, but rewarding if you know how to play the character right. The only downside to this game is that they make you pay for extra storage so items outside of you inventory can be saved. I recommend this game, only if you have a good internet connection.

The game as it stands is very, very young, meaning that more people and time are needed to help build this community built game, but that is the only negative.

All the great and positive aspects about the game:

Single Ship + Multi-ship customization
Great Free Worlds Campaign (rest isn't finished)
Sandbox (even though it pushes you to become a pirater of pirates)
Very Simple Controls
Not CPU/GPU intensive (except in epic battles)
Moddable with all coding available at your fingertips
Plenty of Challenges like Nuke Doging, Worldship Capturing, and my favorite, Epic batte Scenes with 100+ ships engaged in combat = complete and utter lag of goodness as I watch my enemy's ships turn to space dust

To summarize, this game is constanly developing, and is worth the $5 you will never have to pay for it because it is being built by the community, making it even greater.

Updated:

Pros:
- Free
- Challenging at first until you get the hang of things
- Watching your ship get destroyed again and again and again
- Arming a battle fleet with alien outfits then cruising though the galaxy with said outfits, wiping any opponent that has the audacity to challenge you.
- Getting filthy rich
- Killing off the most powerful alien race in game with ease

Cons:
- Grindy when trying to get the levels needed to get to unlock the story.

I am not here to discuss the stupidity of the TITANS upadate that is completely BS, but I want to talk about the game back when it was $50. I started playing it thinking that it was going to the next generation of TA. I was sadly disappointed. The planets have no obstacles, no speacial features, no way to just screw with your enemy. All you get are wide open fields making quantity over quality the only way you'll ever succeed (except for using AA units v. aircraft instead of flame tanks, ...). That was first problem. The next instance was when they did one of their stupid updates and I was locked into a system where the planets would never load for me on multiplayer. I had the 4GB RAM computer, and I had low graphics, but the planets would never load for me. Then there was the smashing planets feature, which was useless if you only had 1 v. 1 on planest. After that, I stopped playing altogether because all I could do was single player campaign, where all I had to do was launch a flame tank rush and they'd drop like flies.

Honestly, I can say that TA, even with it's 200 unit cap, was a far supperior game, and it came out in the 1990s, and here we are today in the 2010s and we get this kind of crap.

I applaud you Uber, you have just entered the Hall of Fame for Worst Game Develepers, and you are #1 on that list.

One of the best games ever, not too ridiculous in prices for items, and is fun. It is MMMORPG without the major lag (though a few glitches can be found here and there)
