I enjoyed my time with it. I'm really hoping we get a sequel to this, because I want to keep following this family throughout their lives and try my best to make Davern succeed!

I only ran into a few bugs, but they were patched literally the next day. Props to the dev team for being on top of things. They're also really good at communicating with the community.

If you liked the first game, or want to try to rule a kingdom, keep your family from falling apart, and satisfy those pesky peasants, you should pick it up!

No color blind mode = Frustrating time trying random hexes to unlock portions of the world map. = Not fun.

Also, paying to retry a battle or be forced to reload from your last save? Obnoxious.

Hi! Are you color blind like me, Dragonmaster Cale? Then guess what! Better not buy this game!

Enjoy trying to match the enemy shields and weapons, changing the colors of your own to defeat them. What's that you say? No big deal? All right, then try the mining mini game which lets you get essential resources for continuing your journey through space!

What's that? Oh, of course every block you shouldn't hit is red! No, wait, is it brown? Unfortunately, since I'm color blind, the red and brown squares look identical! Isn't that great? It means you can't know if you're going to blow up your mining rig in seconds, or in five seconds. But be assured, since you don't know what you're going to hit next, you're going to lose.

This would have been an easy fix by the devs to put in a simple tool that lets you select color schemes for the various parts of the game that are dependant on it.

I tried to get a refund, but I left the game idling for too long while searching for an answer to the color blind issue. To save you time, there is no solution.

I've played all of the Tex Murphy games. Loading this one brought up an amazing amount of nostalgia, so much so I couldn't help but smile. What's even better is that the graphics are sharp, crisp, and amazing. The intro video has great acting, and I can't wait to start my detective work as Tex Murphy, Private Investigator and Dance Instructor! If you like puzzles, mysteries, detectives, branching choice storylines, and good comedy, buy this game!
