It's not a lot like other Paradox games, but it still provides a level of fun that I can say I've gotten my money's worth. buy it maybe

Where should I start with this game? From it’s absolutely amazing story, to the many hours I’ve enjoyed this game. This game can truly go down as one of my favourite games ever
I’ve never been one to write long reviews of games but this one is one that, personally I believe deserves it. Fallout: New Vegas came out at an odd time and had a lot to live up to, seeing as Fallout: 3 didn’t have that well of a reception New Vegas had to be twice as good as 3 and try and live up to the legacy Fallout, and Fallout: 2 left behind. The game has a marvelous balance of open world storytelling left up the player to decide whether he/she wants to experience it or not, but also keeps its linear story as an option that it pushes you towards by cleverly laid out side quests that will lead you to the end goal of the game. I promise you that even after months of playing this game you’ll still find something new!
What’s wrong with the game? I’d be lying if I said there was nothing wrong with New Vegas, the time of it’s creation left it so that it’s in a somewhat buggy state with constant crashes, and quests that don’t feel finished (I’ll get to that later), and quests that just completely break if you do another before it. Most of these problems can be fixed by downloading a mod, but personally I love mods but the average player shouldn’t have to download a third party modification to enjoy a game, right?. Another issue is that multiple side quests and whole playthroughs feel rushed and don’t get the screentime/special gameplay they deserve such as the Legion, or even YesMan all of those endings leave a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t think I’ve played them more than once. Most of these issues are all because of Obsidian having to rush to bring the game out, with it being a rushed project they couldn’t get the whole ideal setting for the game they wished and we ended up with a buggy, half-finished quest, sometimes monotonous game.
The DLC? Personally, the Fallout DLC all adds new landscapes or something I feel that should be DLC, From Old World Blues to Lonesome Road they all made me feel like it was worth spending the money on them (and that’s coming from someone who barely gets money). I’d say stay away from Gun Runners Arsenal and Courier's Stash, because I see them like the horse armour of New Vegas. But I recommend playing all of the DLC and looking up which order to do so in seeing as they do have an order.
Why I recommend this game? Because, I predominantly play RPG’s and I can’t say any other than Knights of the Old Republic: 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, has filled me up with the joy that New Vegas has. I highly recommend this game.

A game that wants you to spend gold to level up but, oh wait! Even with the most planned out run you'll only make about 300 - 500 gold, and Ya'know what the upgrades are in the thousands! Therefore making this a game where you grind like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or you pay (which is the exact reason this piece of garbage Mobile Port is even on steam!)

"You deserve better" & "I wouldn't treat you like that" you've got yourself a friendzone simulator.
