Great airport builder. Some jankiness, sure, but the concept works, it's very motivating to constantly add or optimise "one more thing". It's fun watching the pax bustle about, using paths and amenities you put there.

Performance is pretty decent, typical small indie game multi core usage issues, but it runs OK even with thousands of pax in the airport. The same size airport with the "competition" is much less performing.

There's quite a few airport functionalities that are not present in the game. A lot more probably would have been added if the game was a bigger success and the developers could actually afford to work on the game more. This way, we've still gotten a great game, but there's potential for it to be even better.

I've been hoping for a 3D version of SimAirport/AirportCEO for years now, so I was stoked when I saw Terminal One.

Unfortunately, at this stage, it is not a whole lot of fun to play. It's in "early access" state, but released officially, so I look at it as such.

While the game runs at 60+ FPS with the settings I chose, the entities in the game are not moving around smoothly at all. It does not help that the camera controls are atrocious and options are very limited. Zooming is awkward/jumpy, rotating is fixated on a weird point and slow, the angle seemingly cannot be changed at all.

Then the gameplay, "easy" (which is not sandbox) disables achievements, I guess players who prefer their games more casual are not worthy of achievements. Certainly a choice.
It's a slow start where you can easily maneuverer yourself into a dead end. But supposedly that would be better after a few hours.
The bare tutorial is not very helpful and complains about "too long taxiway to the runway", without offering solutions. These long default runways will always have long taxiway either before or after the apron, what are we supposed to do about it?
I also have no idea what to do when to planes get stuck. After a few minutes of two planes being stuck the game crashed, so tthere's that.

Overall, I don't think in its current state the game has a whole lot to offer, unfortunately. Still I'm glad there's a 3D airport builder.

Feels like an Anno light. Not as complex as recent Anno games, allowing the player to relax after work instead of solving even more issues.
Really nice setting and cute animations.

Motivating with continuous milestones. Lots to explore. Lizard dogs bring you nukes.

Not very deep and rather easy to play. I like that.
I like that the game doesn't force a certain play style, you can play however fast or slow as you want. The game also introduces the game play elements one after another in the "campaign", makes learning the game really smooth.
Another good thing is how easy it is to move around whole rooms and generally remodel/reorganise, makes it easy to just place something without stressing about perfect placement. It's easy to optimise later on.

Unconventional game that combines a little bit of management with "action sequences" and exploring, sprinkled with many micro-games.
Some parts are time sensitive, but there's always untimed parts where there is no pressure and where you can relax between "stressful" dives.
Features like upgrades and ratings are neatly packed into smartphone-apps, which is a fun way to have these functionalities presented.
This game feels like it was made with a lot of love and attention to detail.

I like how consistent the menu and easy to use the menu is. The same button always does the same action, unlike other games where it's all mixed up. Gameplay is also really fun and the story is alright.
Also, being able to freely explore around Hogwarts, how amazing is that?!

Looks great. Good road design.
Maybe not the greatest map addition and lacks some detail, but important to complete western Europe.
