I played this game on the hardest difficulty. Here is some feedback:
- Parrying is not consistent. And if you fail to parry a certain number of times you're locked out of it until it recharges.
- Rolling to dodge is also inconsistent. Sometimes enemy attacks would hit me in the place where I ROLLED from, so something's up with the hitboxes.
- Having minions chasing you around during boss fights is extremely poor and lazy craftsmanship. In the highest difficulty where you get basically 2-3 shot, them being there is just salt in the wound.
- Furthermore, the camera will sometimes lock onto the minion rather than the boss, making you have to adjust your aim with your bow or bomb. I didn't realise you could turn off the auto lock in the settings so I guess you can disregard this statement. But for the people that want to play with auto lock this is something to keep in mind.
- Some bosses are outright just not fun. An example is the Wood Knight - getting there after dying is ridiculous. I have to slide down, shoot some monkeys who run away if you aim at them too early, and then and only then do I get a shot at the boss. Fail? Do it all over again.
- Toshi's boss design is not good. Rot Hammer? Sorry bruv I'mma just poise through all of that. Actually, I will just poise through everything. And here's a 5 hit combo that you cannot roll or parry your way out of.
- The action where you make the rot a giant dragon-like thing to get rid of the corruption is the most difficult thing I've ever encountered when playing on mouse and keyboard.
- The hats are cute, I will give you that, but serve no purpose aside from visual. The only modifiers are the charms, which are either scattered around the world or locked behind trials or corrupted chests.
- The puzzles are just eh. They were a bit too easy. Personally I am not a fan of timed puzzles but that's just me.

The good:
- The visuals are stunning, amazing, and wallpaper worthy. The team did a great job here.
- The music is also amazing, but getting destroyed by bosses will make me miss some of the soundtrack.
- The voice acting is good.
- Some of the boss designs were really good, especially the Hunter and the Warrior - the Warrior is one of the best designed bosses by far in this game.

Conclusion:
- I will give this a recommend if and only if you are playing this not at the hardest difficulty. If you really want a challenge or want to see the world burn then sure go for the hardest difficulty.
- I would enjoy more lore in this game because we know nothing about the main character and why she wants to go to the mountain.
- I would love to see a Kena 2 or some spin-off game. A Kena movie would be phenomenal.

I've been playing PUBG for a fair amount of hours now, and I believe that it is a good time to give a proper review, since the game is at its full release.

There's one thing that I would like to talk about: the amount of Chinese people and the amount of hackers amongst them. Never before have I encountered a hacker that wasn't Chinese. The game is unplayable after 12am AEST due to the amount of Chinese players entering the Oceania server. Each lobby is filled to the maximum with Chinese players with their mic setting set to all, so that everyone can hear what they have to say. Their mics earrape my friends and I, but that's their problem, not PUBG's.

In the morning, around 11am-noon, the game is filled with people actually from Oceania (Australians, New Zealanders, etc), and the minority (for once) is actually the Chinese. This is when the game is playable, because these Oceanic players are good blokes and don't hack, because we want a fair go. Afterwards, around 7pm onwards, the Chinese players start logging in and clogging up the lobbies with their loud talking and their offensive words (cao ni ma for example). After 12am is when the game becomes a scientific experiment, where the Chinese are the scientists and the minorities are the lab rats. After 12am (not sure if its PUBG server issues or not), I have to reconnect multiple times after every game due to how many people are playing.

I don't understand why Chinese people have to join Oceania and North American servers at all. They have their own servers (SEA and AS) but they choose our servers which are many many kilometres away. Sometimes they are so laggy that their bullets either curve around corners or go through doors or even walls and you get downed or killed (massive amounts of desync). This creates an unfair advantage because I can't hit them back as they're already behind said corner, door or wall.

Anyways, time to about the hackers. There are so many Chinese hackers. How do I know that they are Chinese? Their names. They mostly run aimbot, but occasionally I see a few speedhackers and wallers. Thank God that PUBG included death cams, so I can see the Chinese hackers kill me with their aimbotting. Just today, around 2am, I was killed by a Chinese hacker with aimbot. It's amazing because every time I make it to the top 10, my team or myself die from them Chinese hackers.

There is a solution. The solution is to region-lock the game. Prevent everyone joining other servers that don't belong to them, which will keep the Chinese hackers in their own servers to do whatever the ♥♥♥♥ they please. They can have a battle of the aimbotters or some ♥♥♥♥.

I absolutely hate Chinese players in this game, because they are extremely toxic (worse than Chernobyl). They team kill people who aren't Chinese, they hack, they swear and want me to do sexual things with my mother, they yell in all-chat and they just ruin my gaming experience.

I cannot recommend this game because non-Chinese players will feel the wrath of these hacking scumbags and will make you think you wasted a fair bit of money in this game. Until all this hacking is fixed, my position stands.

Early Access Review
This game is very good. Has everything an RPG needs - slimes, swords and a broken keyboard due to rage. The storyline is really interesting and kept me hooked.

There are some things that could be changed/added:
1. Movement: we need to attack diagonally. I know this game is supposed to be old school, but firing projectiles is annoying.
2. More weapons and armour
3. Better bonuses for when you max out a skill or talent
4. More hairstyles (I wanted something spiky but not too spiky) and beards
5. Health regen

What I liked:
- This game in general
- Lightsabres
- Killing Winter and the three Hydras after so many attempts

What I didn't:
- The game was too short (I know it's in EA so I won't count that)
- Item drop rates were hella low (took me ages to get Cystals for my lightsabre)

I can't wait to play this game when it's fully released.
